Welcome to the Europe and Eurasia Private Health Sector Page. We will have events and postings of topics and papers that are relevant to the region on private health sector issues.

Our first event will be an online powerpoint presentation on Maximizing Private Sector Contributions to Family Planning in the Europe & Eurasia Region. Based on a report written by PSP-One, the presentation discusses the important role the private sector plays in RH/FP throughout the region.

The report is available for download at www.psp-one.com/content/resource/4434. The presentation provides an excellent overview of the main private sector actors in the E&E region and the challenges and opportunities they face in the RH/FP area.

In addition to the presentation, there will be two live online chat sessions with the report’s authors to engage in a discussion or to answer any questions you may have about the report or the presentation.

  • The first session for Caucasus region, Ukraine, Russia and Eastern Europe will be held Tuesday, November 27th at 8:00AM EST (4:00PM in Moscow).
  • The second session for the Central Asian Republics will be held Wednesday, November 28th at 10:00PM EST (Thursday, 11/29 9:00AM in Almaty).
