About the PSP Contract

PSP-One (i.e. PSP 'Task Order One') is the first task order of the umbrella Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) program. The overall PSP is a five-year Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) managed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH), Service Delivery Improvement Division (SDI). The PSP began in 2004. The PSP IQC allows USAID Missions and Bureaus to easily access high quality technical assistance and support for their activities involving the private sector in health. PSP activities promote private, and particularly commercial sector, strategies to expand service delivery and access to quality reproductive health and voluntary family planning and other key health products in developing countries.

PSP-One (Task Order One) is the flagship project to promote and expand private sector programming under the PSP IQC umbrella. It is also tasked with disseminating knowledge generated by the various IQC activities worldwide.

This web site has been designed to communicate and disseminate materials from the PSP-One project as well as other PSP project activities. Throughout the site, you will see references to both PSP-One-specific materials and materials from the greater community.
