Dear Mr. Noubibou,

There are a number of resources available to assist private clinics and other types of health care businesses to access financing. USAID has created the Banking on Health Project, which works globally to increase access to financing for the private health sector. Banking on Health takes a two pronged approach by working with local financial institutions to promote health sector lending and by working with private providers to improve their credit-readiness. Please refer to the Banking on Health web site for more information about this project. On the web site you will also find resources to help you access financing. There is a very useful tool, "Financing for the Private Health Sector", which is a resource guide for health care managers interested in obtaining financing. In addition someone from the Banking on Health Project will contact you shortly to provide additional information and advice.
