The Abt Associates-led PSP-One project recently released a new policy brief, The Vital Role of the Private Sector in Reproductive Health. The brief provides a comprehensive overview of the entities comprising the private for-profit health sector and a rationale for involving this sector in public health initiatives. The brief also describes public-private interventions that can increase availability of health products and services and strengthen health outcomes.
