ASHONPLAFA Signs Distribution Contract

ASHONPLAFA introduces injectables to its portfolio through a partnership with a Southern-based manufacturer with support from the PSP-One project.

The Honduran NGO ASHONPLAFA has just signed a distribution contract with the Mexican manufacturer of the Cyclofemina monthly injectable, Aplicaciones Farmaceuticas.

Through this contract, ASHONPLAFA will soon be selling the first socially marketed injectable in Honduras, increasing access to this method. The introduction of the injectable is part of a broader PSP-One strategy to expand ASHONPLAFA’s product portfolio to strengthen its social marketing program. PSP-One provided support to ASHONPLAFA in identifying the manufacturer, assessing its quality and negotiating the price of the product, and facilitated the establishment of the partnership. This is the first Southern-based manufacturer that ASHONPLAFA works with, allowing it to access a quality product at a lower price.
