PSP-One Seeks Advice From Health Care Quality Experts in 24 Countries
The PSP-One project is seeking a small amount of time from experts willing to be interviewed who are knowledgeable about the status of the quality of care being provided by the public and private sector in these 24 countries:
| Africa | Latin America | Asia | Eastern Europe |
| Benin | Colombia | Bangladesh | Albania | Burkina Faso | Ecuador | Cambodia |
| Cote d'Ivoire | El Salvador | Indonesia | |
| Gabon | Guatemala | Nepal | |
| Guinea | Haiti | ||
| Mali | Honduras | ||
| Mauritania | Paraguay | ||
| Morocco | Peru | ||
| Mozambique | |||
| Namibia | |||
| Tunisia |
If you are willing to participate, we will ask you hold a 45-minute phone interview sometime in early November, scheduled at your convenience and at our cost.
The purpose of the country scan is to:
- Identify what is known concerning standards of clinical care and monitor compliance to those clinical standards and the measurement approaches applied by the public and private sector to improve quality of care in different countries and regions; e.g. summarize if there are regional differences in approaches and groups worked with;
- Summarize the lessons learned and successful interventions in improving quality of care in the private sector in developing countries; and
- Identify the gaps in information and prioritize the needs and technical issues that need to be addressed by future activities concerning quality of care.
